The work playboy series (untitled) deals
with the problem of the representation of women in "men's magazines".
The collage dissolves the extreme objectification of women in these magazines and critically underlines the absurdity of these photographs.
In this project, I aim to extract the essence of a woman's aesthetics from the magazine's representation and present her in a more dignified manner. This is archieved by removing her from the clichéd context and placing her in a new environment.
Isolating specific body parts within the images disrupts the original content, resulting in a somewhat grotesque yet oddly captivating beauty.
